Learn About Elmira's Gateway Project

Chemung County and the City of Elmira are pleased to announce the upcoming Public Design Workshop for our Elmira Gateway Feasibility Study. This event will be held on Wednesday, October 29th, from 6PM – 7:30PM at the Steele Memorial Library. All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

In partnership with Fisher Associates, the workshop will provide an opportunity for stakeholders and the public to provide valuable input on the future look and utility of East Church St. and East Water St. – the main entryways from I-86 into the City.

The workshop is intended for community engagement and will allow the public to:

Help design a gateway that benefits the whole community
